Warranty Coverage

Smart Turn Auto Repair warrants both parts and labor for the repairs listed below, when performed at this facility, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 24 months or 24,000 miles for parts and labor, whichever occurs first, unless otherwise specified on the estimate and invoice. Certain repairs or parts may carry a different warranty period, such as 12-months/12,000-miles, as noted at the time of service.

The warranty period begins from the date the original repair was completed or the odometer reading indicated on the original repair invoice.

This warranty excludes repairs necessitated by:

• Failures caused by or related to pre-existing conditions, unrelated component failures, or other system failures that were not repaired by Smart Turn Auto Repair (e.g., a belt replacement is no longer warrantied if its failure was due to an oil seal leak, a head gasket replacement is no longer warrantied if its failure was due to overheating as a result of a broken radiator, etc.).
• Accidents, natural disasters, or external causes beyond Smart Turn Auto Repair’s control.
• Customer negligence, misuse, or improper maintenance.
• Work performed by any facility other than Smart Turn Auto Repair.
• Routine maintenance services, including but not limited to fluid changes and filter replacements.
• Wear items such as brake pads/shoes, rotors/drums, bulbs, and batteries.
• Repairs or services that were specifically noted on the estimate or invoice as not covered under warranty.

The vehicle must be regularly maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. If requested, the vehicle owner agrees to provide evidence of completed maintenance services.

Warranty claims cannot exceed the original cost of repair. If the repair or parts are covered by an unexpired manufacturer’s warranty or recall policy, Smart Turn Auto Repair reserves the right to seek coverage under that policy at no cost to the owner. By accepting service, the owner agrees to allow Smart Turn Auto Repair to file such claims.

This limited warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the covered repair.

Covered Repairs

The following repair categories are covered under this limited warranty unless otherwise specified:

• Brake system (excluding brake pads/shoes and rotors/drums)
• Electrical system
• Emission control system
• Air conditioning, heating, and climate control system
• Exhaust system
• Fuel system
• Engine cooling system
• Ignition system
• Steering and suspension systems, including CV joints, wheel bearings, half shafts, and driveshafts
• Engine performance and drivability repairs
• On-board computer system and electronic engine management system
• Starting and charging systems (excluding batteries)
• Other minor repairs (excluding bulbs)

Warranty Service Requirements

If a repair covered under this warranty is needed within the applicable time or mileage period, the vehicle must be returned to Smart Turn Auto Repair at the owner's expense. This warranty does not cover towing, rental vehicles, lost time, inconvenience, or other incidental expenses. Only repairs performed by Smart Turn Auto Repair are eligible for warranty coverage. All warranty claims must be inspected and verified by Smart Turn Auto Repair before any warranty repair is approved. Unauthorized repairs performed by another facility will void this warranty.
