WARRANTY COVERAGE

Smart Turn Auto Repair warrants the repairs listed below, and performed at this facility, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, measured from the date the first repair(s) were completed or the odometer reading indicated on the original repair invoice. Any repairs required during the covered period that were a result of a failure of a different part or system (i.e., a belt would not be covered if it becomes contaminated with oil due to an oil seal failure), accident, natural disaster, customer negligence, work performed by a facility other than Smart Turn Auto, and normal wear and tear are excluded. Also excluded are routine maintenance services (such as fluid changes and filters). Also excluded are repairs or services that are listed on the estimate or invoice as not covered under a warranty. The vehicle must also be maintained regularly in accordance with the recommendations set forth by the manufacturer, and the owner agrees to provide evidence that such services were completed, if requested. Warranty repairs may not exceed the cost of the original repair. A recall policy or unexpired manufacturer’s warranty may cover the vehicle repair and/or parts. If so, Smart Turn Auto Repair reserves the right to seek repair or replacement under such coverage, at no cost to the owner. The owner thereby agrees in the filing of any such claim. This limited warranty is extended to the original purchaser of said warranty and does not transfer to anyone who may purchase the vehicle from the owner during the covered period.

Covered repairs include:

• Brake system (excluding brake pads/shoes and rotors/drums)
• Electrical system
• Emission control system
• Air conditioning, heating and climate control system
• Exhaust system
• Fuel system
• Engine cooling system
• Ignition system
• Steering/suspension systems, CV joints, wheel bearings, half shafts, driveshafts
• Engine performance or drivability repairs
• On-board computer system and electronic engine management system
• Starting and charging systems (excluding batteries)
• Other minor repairs (excluding bulbs)

WARRANTY SERVICE

The formerly repaired vehicle must be returned to Smart Turn Auto Repair, at the owner’s expense, if repairs are required during the covered period. Only repair services ordered through Smart Turn Auto Repair are covered by our warranty.
